SUN-VESTA CONJUNCTION (4 LIBRA) – The Priestess Renegotiates her Boundaries … 27th September 2017

The Sun and Vesta conjunction presents you with an opportunity to renegotiate your relationships and contracts with others. Here is where we stop beating about the bush, say what we mean and mean what we say.

The alignment itself goes exact at 4 Libra ´39 at 14:09 pm (UTC time) on September 27th 2017.

Remember that whilst Libra is associated with beauty, balance and harmony – these are what it idealizes. The symbol of Libra remains the Scales of Justice. And She – of course – holds the scales in one hand and a sword in the other.

Vesta, The Priestess – seeks to find a path of service and dedication by which she can create relationships that enrich all involved, as path of the work she does in the world.

More often than not, we tend to give our power away to others in the name of Love, Compassion and Service. Any action which requires you to pretend to be anything apart from what you are is neither loving, nor compassionate, nor genuinely helpful.

Here is where we cut through the illusions of words and rhetoric that asks us to do just that. What we often forget is that our presence alone can be the reason we are here, it can be the way we serve.

Seek out connections who let you be you are and do not demand you to pretend to be something else.

Be honest in your dealings, in the way you see fit to handle them.

We´re too afraid of being seen as abrasive or harsh because we´re afraid of being seen as abusive or cruel.

The two are not the same thing.

You can be as civil as humanly possible and still be seen as rude because you said: No thank you, I dont want this in my space.

Remember that no one is entitled to your sweetness, grace and nurturing presence unless you freely choose to share it with them.

There is nothing to feel guilty about if you don´t feel like doing that and would rather get straight to the point.

However, that is not the same as going out of your way to be harmful or cruel.
This is a valuable distinction to bear in mind.

And remember – NO is a complete sentence. Especially when someone does not respect you enough to heed your words and preferences with respect to your own space, time and energy.

Hopefully though, you´re dealing with people with whom a more civil interaction is possible. A polite refusal or statement should suffice.

Those who choose to see that as ´abusive´ … are probably not going to see you for who you are in any case. Consider if that is the connection you wish to have.

Take no shit. Do no harm.

A Short Poem from earlier today:

Once upon a time, I had a filter.
And I was more polite when people wasted my time.
. . . and then I figured out how to make them stop
It was as simple as saying
No. Stop. Not interested. Thank you for your time.
I stopped buttering that up.
I stopped the polite back and forth till (hopefully) they got the idea.
I stopped worrying if they would like me afterwards or stay friends if I said no.
Maybe I´m not as nice as I used to be.
But I damn well have a lot more time on my hands.
