Honor the Nurturer: Lessons in Sustainable Service from Venus-in-Virgo

Venus is in Virgo. She´s activating a Grand Earth Trine with Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Capricorn.

Heavy lifting is in the works.

Uranus is getting you to transform your value system and the way you connect with your body and the abundance, resources and physical life of this planet.

Saturn wants you to look at whether your life goals and actions are in alignment with your truest sense of purpose – and whether you have been paying your karmic dues (if relevant).

Venus-in-Virgo is looking at these larger forces and wants to map out the details.

Just how are you going to make a life that honors your purpose and allows you to make ends meet?

What are you going to do to make those choices physically and psychologically sustainable for yourself and others?

What routines of health, prayer, service, self-care do you have to incorporate in your day-to-day life? (To align with these larger forces and currents more productively)

Venus will stay in Virgo till August 6-7, 2018.

The Grand Earth Trine will remain in effect through the Solar (July 12-13) and break just before the Lunar Eclipse (July 27-28).

This can be an incredibly nurturing and fruitful energy that allows you to rejuvenate Mind-Body-Soul and feel more at home with your role of Service on this Beautiful Planet. Remember though: Service has to be Sustainable.

However – if ignored – can lead to a buildup of anxiety, nervousness, hypercritical attitudes and (very often) digestive complaints.

It´s useful to remember that not everything can or should be ´fixed´ instantly – or in exactly the way you would like to see it happen.

Spirit has far greater Wisdom than any one of us has individual access to. Finding out what that is comes with Time, Surrender and Patience.

In other words, whilst this is an energy that wants to act with mind and body – strategy and groundedness – – – remember not to overextend yourself.

Part of the Venus-in-Virgo transit will activate Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn and Ceres in Virgo. These are invitations for us to celebrate and support the ways in which the Feminine Serves Sustainably.

It´s a very productive time to ensure that the nurturers in our lives are honored – especially when their needs have been marginalized or somehow delegitimized in the public eye.

Be clear in your goals and work steadily towards making them happen.

Eat well, drink purified water. Don´t overdo the rich, heavy meals. Keep it light and nutritious.

Spend time in nature. Hug a tree!

Honor your time and energy – and that of others. Especially when in a service-oriented profession.

Healthy boundaries make the work sustainable for all.

Beautiful. I have 5 planets in Virgo and am an acupuncturist and harpist. I volunteer for hospice with my harp. I also do community acupuncture in my private practice and for a non-profit called the Trauma Healing Project. Learning to get paid at all and paid decently has been a big challenge. One hospice want me to volunteer acupuncture, now. I said one time, but they need to have a paid position. I do love to serve, but I am extremely poor. Thank you for this.
