I´m excited about this Aries New Moon for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, it comes after a prolonged phase of spiritual muckery, re-visitation and (ideally) clarity through Mercury Retrograde and Vesta in Pisces. Whilst Mercury and Venus are still in Pisces, a lot of the debris has been cleared and we are collectively moving into lighter, more refined frequencies.

The Aries New Moon gives us the opportunity to planet new seeds of being and becoming. To re-birth ourselves as that Light-Spark-Essence of Consciousness of Self.

(that was kitty´s contribution – she decided to walk across the keyboard and chime in)

Now it´s not all light, roses and cupcakes – as there is still a lot of collective density afoot. But what we´re being asked to do is to realize that we have a choice as to how we engage with it. By saying no to old scripts, patterns, paradigms, and karmic contracts that weigh us down and force us into narrow roles – we change that collective experience.

The New Moon (15 Aries) squares Hylonome (14 Capricorn) and Persephone (15 Capricorn). This is an excellent time to re-claim the self from contracts and a rigid stipulation of roles in partnerships and parent-child dynamics. Rather than playing out a script, you are invited to live your life the way you want to. As you.

Whilst honoring others is important, it as is important to honor yourself and what is true for you.

Too often we compromise that essential quality in the name of service, love, societal and familial expectations, cultural norms, and so on.

A good resource for those working through these dynamics, especially as manifested in codependent pattern is: Women Who Love Too Much by Robin Norwood (but as the author says – it really applies to anyone in these patterns – women are just statistically more likely to get stuck in certain culturally ´mandated´roles as opposed to others)`+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++uiul

(Kitty approves of this message – that was her again)

We also see a similar theme playing out with the New Moon trine Ceres and The Great Attractor (14 Sagittarius). We are asked to look at how we give and receive nurture to others to help them expand into a greater understanding of who they are and the road they take.

Sometimes too little nurture can be the kick in the pants you need to get up and moving.

(And sometimes it becomes the construct to get you to shut down and stop feeling your truth)

Sometimes too much ´nurture´can feel smothering and constraining. Remember, it comes down to that ´s´.

What you´re looking for is the right amount.

And for people who are disconnected from that energy, accepting any amount of nurture back into your life can be a challenge in itself. Open yourself up to it, if you feel it doesn´t have any hidden strings attached.

Look for teachers and pathways who can help you expand yourself sense of self and challenge you appropriately – and say goodbye to those who are more invested in pulling your strings.

Remember that just as there is a toxic masculine (which does ot define all of masculinity), there is also a toxic feminine (which does not define all of femininity).

The same applies to the archetype of the Mother. You dont´need to romanticize it. You can recognize the shitty, controlling parts and acknowledge them as such.

Then you can actually do something about them.

Generally speaking:

Look to your relationships with your primary nurturers and mentors to see how they have influenced your journey. These archetypes are not limited to particular genders.

Honor, acknowledge, forgive, give thanks and release – if appropriate  🙂

Last – but by no means least –

We also see Isis (16 Leo) trining this New Moon with Iris (15 Libra) opposing this New Moon.

This is a time to awaken back to the pure energy of the nurturing Feminine, fierce and protective in its compassion and embodiment. You do not need a label, title or construct to do so – as she was always there to begin with.

As you bring back that pure Feminine Essence in to your Heart, you rebirth your Being..

You re-birth the entire world.

Let the tears flow – be they of recognition, joy rage, sadness, humility, grace – and you may find messages arising through your sub-conscious (and other layers of reality).

Be open to allow the symbol of the rainbow or full color spectrum into your spiritual and psychic work – if it calls to you.

And watch the world we co-create into being.

Recommended gemstones: Carnelian, Ammonite.

Blessings To the Collective,

  2. Gemma says:

I think this was my most favourite video. I watched with a coffee as the kids slept. It resonated deeply. And I love the myths and musings on the various Goddess archetypes. Thank you.
