My Approach to the Lunar Eclipse & Major Capricorn Conjunction (10-12 January 2020)

I’ve been thinking about why I’m not that fussed over the upcoming Lunar Eclipse or major Capricorn conjunction.

I’ve been walking my talk. Preparing for this incrementally over the past few years. Guiding people to do the same.

Sure, it’s a historically significant alignment.

And yes, it’s gonna change the world.

But it’s important to also realize that it’s not just about the ‘big things’ , out there.

It’s making all of us commit to a legacy worth leaving behind.

Whatever’s coming up between January 10-12 (UT time) is stuff we’ve already seen coming. It’s things we’ve set seeds for, personally and collectively, much like a wave of motion unfolding a constellation of dominoes.

There have been opportunities to course correct and at a personal level and many of us have taken them. That’s been the focus on so much incredible work spiritually and interpersonally over the past few years.

With Pluto in Capricorn, that has been the work of decolonizing and de-constructing the power dynamics that create hierarchical and oppressive relationships in the world. That is reflected in the same dynamics within family, intimate partnerships, ancestry, collective and personal shadow dynamics.

We were warned. And many of us have been doing what we can.

So whatever that is for you, keep at it.

Don’t fall into the fallacy that your life and efforts do not matter.

We live in a quantum reality. We have no way of knowing just how our personal work influences the political. Only time can tell.

If the flap of a butterfly’s wings can cause changes to the weather, your work also affects the collective and it’s unfolding.

Be responsible
Be diligent
Be committed

To what is in your power to change.

Trust that the ripples you set in motion have an influence beyond yourself.

That means taking decisive action. It’s not about intentions and prayers alone.

Getting hyped about the what ifs-and what might be-s doesn’t actually get anything done.

Take it a day at a time.
Do what you can.
Reach out to others who need a little help if you can.
Rest and replenish.
Wake up the next day and do it all over again.

That’s the way to go.
